What is DDSPL?

The Double Diamond Slo-Pitch League (DDSPL) is an adult co-ed slo-pitch league that plays on Friday nights in Richmond Hill. The majority of games are played at Richmond Green (diamonds 5 and 6), with start times of 7 PM and 8:45 PM. We do not play on long weekends (i.e. Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day).

The emphasis in DDSPL is on fun. People join as individuals or couples, and a draft is held by the coaches and league executive. League entry is capped at 104 people. We generally have a large core of returning players, so if you are interested, please submit your registration as early as you can.

14 regular season games are played, a mid-season tournament is held, and the playoffs run over a weekend in September. All teams make the playoffs with each team guaranteed 3 games.

We normally finish the year off with a league banquet for all players and their partners.
